Orange Blossom Martini

In comparison to the last two cocktails, this one is a true drink and plays with mixing alcohols to get great taste instead of using mixers. And by that, I mean this is one strong cocktail. It's simple, it's delicious, but it is a drink to sip! So here goes a cocktail insprired by orange blossom.

What You'll Need
Ice
Lime Juice
Mandarin Orange Vodka
 St. Germain Elderflower Liquer
Cocktail Shaker

OrangeBlossom5

Fill a shaker 2/3rds full with ice.

OrangeBlossom4

Pour 2 shots of vodka and 1 shot of elderflower liquer over the ice.

OrangeBlossom3

Pour lime juice in for about a second or a few squirts, maybe a teaspoon or two.

Shake vigoursly for 20-30 seconds - no less that 20, more towards 30 if you tend to count fast.

Orangeblossom2

Strain into a glass. This is a cheap martini glass that we had for our party only. I usually would put this into a normal glass as I don't own martini glasses for like every day use.

Orangeblossom1

Serve! You can garnish if you like with an orange peel or flower.

  9. That looks so yummy! I could use one of those right now ;). I'm not one to drink from a martini glass either. I'll pick it up to take a sip and spill half of it on the table. Or on me!

  14. This sounds awesome and perfect for after an especially long day at work! I love your cocktail series! There's a place right next to my work I think you would love called The Bitter Bar (though sometimes I do not feel hip enough to be in there haha!) Their cocktail menu is pretty awesome though (thebitterbar.com if you want some more drink inspiration!)
    Have a wonderful day!
