I would say I am very fortunate to have a dog that travels really well - 16 hours in a car and Teemo was never sick or upset, just adorable. After spending a rather sleepless night in Charlotte due to being way too excited, the last 8 hours were the worst. I ended up traveling like 200 miles with two boys in a red car who wrote the lyrics to call me maybe on a sign and showed it to me. It was kind of adorable. I waved. Getting to Orlando was great - I got to go out to a hibachi dinner and Menchie's and a Target trip. Doesn't take us long to get back into the swing of things.
Except I had to tripod these photos. What's up with that guys?
dress :: sugarhill boutique via modcloth remixed
jacket :: target remixed
scarf :: old navy remixed
belt :: anthropologie remixed

how cute! everything, the dogs, the outfit, the car and that license plate! haha love it :)
ReplyDeleteLove everything in this post! You are so lucky to have a dog that travels well. What did the lyrics say?
ReplyDeleteHibatchi is the best, and Teemo is so adorable! He seems like an awesome car buddy. :)
ReplyDeleteHahah love that picture of Teemo, and that's so amazing that he can sit still for that long. I had a dog for just a little bit and he couldn't last 10 minutes without running in circles. And very cute dress! You seem to have the best dress collection, sigh.
ReplyDeleteI love that those guys wrote out the Call Me Maybe lyrics. That's definitely the best part of road trips - the people you meet along the way. You're lucky that Teemo was so easy during the car ride. :)
ReplyDeleteI adore the seashell pattern on your dress, by the way. Makes me want to take a trip to the beach!
That first picture is absolutely the cutest ever!!! I wish Duke was this good to travel with, he whines and tries to sit on my lap, which is difficult while driving standard.
ReplyDeleteLove the print on this dress too! I have to agree with Marlen, you have the best dress collection

Yay! I'm glad you guys got there safe, sound and happy! So excited for you and Teemo! He is so freaking adorable!
ReplyDeleteTeemo is so cute! Glad it was a good trip.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute post! I loved the title! =D
ReplyDeleteDo you like driving a Fiat? I've been interested more and more in that car! haha...

It's alright. I wouldn't tout it as the best or most reliable car ever - I do have 31,000 miles on the thing though and it's been a year and I haven't broken down or anything. I have had some issues with maintenance lights randomly turning on, the air fan breaking multiple times, and just the fact that it doesn't have some features I think I should have thought more about (no alarm or security features which is stupid for a girl who lived alone in a new city for a year). It is incredibly cute though, but I will say you sacrifice some things for style. It doesn't get the best gas mileage (my husband's larger Ford Fiesta does a lot better), the trunk is very hard to store things in (my carry on fits better in the passenger seat than the trunk and my large suitcase just doesn't fit), and looks silly if you put anyone above 6' in it.
DeleteSo darling!! The first photo is my favorite, you both look so happy and excited for a road trip!
ReplyDeleteomg i love that first picture!! you are both so cute!

OH MY GOSH that first picture is so amazing with the post title. Also Teemo with his tongues out is too cute, so amazing he does so well in the car with you, what a good little buddy!
ReplyDeleteTripod-ing photos is the worst! A necessary evil to get things done though!
I'm so jealous of your fiat! These are some great photos, Teemo is so adorable!

HAHAHA Your license plate is the coolest!!!! I love it.
ReplyDeleteThat is great that there was no doggy vomit in your car. My dog was always good with travelling too, but I remember one of the dogs my family used to have. . .every time she'd vomit in the car to go 10 minutes to the groomer. Sad. I can't imagine being in a car for 16 hours! I hear the hardest part of the trip is Virginia driving. Is that true?

Love the puppy photos! so glad the trip went fine.

ReplyDeleteI love the first photo so much! You really are lucky to have such a happy traveller. x
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, you are definitely lucky to have a dog that does well in the car. Mine is definitely not one of them. A trip to the vet and back is well enough, ha

Your dog is so cute! I love his tiny little legs!
ReplyDeleteAnd my sister's dog is NOT a good traveller! He hates being in the car! So you're very lucky to have such a travel-lovin dog (:

ReplyDeleteI love your outfit, your hair, your dog, and your licence plate :)!
ReplyDeleteYou and little Teemo are the cutest! We're super lucky to have a dog that loves riding in cars too. Nellie was a aaint all the way to MS and back over Thanksgiving. Glad you had a good trip. I bet it feels good to be home.
ReplyDeleteI saw this just now and immediately thought of you! :)

AHNO! Not another corgi thing! Modcloth has got to stop this, I have literally bought like everything off their that is corgi related. I have the matching sweater to this, aha.
DeleteHahaha....I knew you'd enjoy it!
DeleteI want to add a jean jacket to my wardrobe! And I love that Piri is so good in cars as well. He loves it! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute!! I love it all---the outfit, the car, the dog, the pictures and the story! What a great post!
ReplyDeleteYou're so lucky Teemo is good in the car! Paczki will just sleep in the passenger seat but Tommy likes to jump around and look out the window. The. Entire. Time. I can hardly have him in there for a half hour!
ReplyDeleteLove your dress, the print is super cute!

He is just the perfect little mascot. Disney channel needs to adopt a show for you two.
ReplyDeleteThat picture of Teemo is SUPER cute!
ReplyDeleteYour hair is looking so cute in these photos!
ReplyDeleteYour license plate! Hahaha.
People can be so fun sometimes. I love it when you meet people only for a moment, but you it brightens your day.

Fun road trip pics! I've lucked out with my dogs, too - they usually just sleep on long trips. And if there's more than one person to drive, they can be good nap partners for the passenger. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, love that dress!
Aww, what a sweet trip it sounds like you had, I love great excursions like this especially with a good doggie like yours. Happy weekend dear. /Madison :)
ReplyDeleteOk, I could NOT stop laughing after reading your title and seeing these photos. Teemo needs a reality show!

You're so lucky - my dog gets scared and usually tries to climb into my lap when we drive somewhere, but she's a shepherd mix... it's not exactly safe! Anyway, you and Teemo make a really cute pair, and I love the print on your dress!
ReplyDelete- Leslie, Instant Fires
LOVEE your Fiat! Ever since returning from Italy I have dreamed of owning one! They're so cute and I love their commercials hahah

That dress again! I want it! That last photo is so cute of you two - frame worthy :) And I am lucky to have a cat that travels really well in the car also. We drove her cross-country when we moved from FL to CA and she was an angel. She slept on the passenger's lap the whole way and didn't fuss once.
ReplyDeleteI love your dress! And the 2nd to last picture is just priceless!

ReplyDeleteOh my god... too cute! And I love your shoes!

What a perfect travel buddy! Did you wind up stopping at any hotels? I know that if you stay at Sheratons or Westins - your dog gets to stay for free!
ReplyDeleteWe did end up in a La Quinta in Charlotte where he was happily accepted - he does pretty well but he did treat the side table between the two beds as a bridge!
DeleteOops! I forgot I am on my husband's computer sorry -- it's Katherine.
DeleteThis is soo cute :) Love ur outfittt and ur dog is soo adorable
ReplyDeleteDo check out my blog and let me know if u wanna follow each other:)

This is such a cute post! I love road trips with the dogs, but I haven't been able to take one with them in a long time. -Jess L
ReplyDeleteAwwww, he is such a cutie, you are so lucky, our two are okay travelling in short bursts but more than a couple of hours and they go mad. Glad your trip went ok xo
ReplyDeleteOkay, you and your dog are both freakin' adorable. What a good boy! Your hair is darling, and I love the way you brought a seashell print dress so perfectly into fall with the scarf and jacket.
ReplyDeleteMay the force be with you.
