Pumpkin Simple Syrup

This simple syrup is one of my favorites I have ever made - it's a bit of a dark brown due to the brown sugar, but it really tastes like pumpkin pie. Stick around for a really yummy cocktail next week!

What You'll Need
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup Water
1/2-1 Teaspoon Cinnamon (adjust to your liking of cinnamon)
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg and Allspice
2 Tablespoons Pumpkin Puree

In one pot, mix together all dry ingredients. Pour water over and stir. Put over medium heat until mixture bubbles and becomes thick.

Remove and strain into container. Then allow to cool. Store in refrigerator.

  3. This sounds and looks delicious. I want to make this. I feel like it'd make a really great gift. Or maybe something neat to bring to somebody's house for Thanksgiving. Like providing a special cocktail before dinner. I may have to do that...
