Bourbon Elder Cocktail

The most powerful wand in Harry Potter was the Elder wand, so it makes sense that the game changing ingredient here is St. Germain (which is made from Elderflowers which come from the tree the Elder wand is made from...that's....nerdy?). If you are bored of mixing rum into apple cider just like every one else, try this simple cocktail. I made this for Jeremiah and Becki when they stopped by after their engagement, and they were in love with it too.

What You'll Need
Kentucky Bourbon (Bulleit is a new one for me, I love it)
St. Germain (Elderflower Liquer)
Apple Cider
Ice
Cinnamon Stick and Apple Slice for Ganish

Pour 2 parts apple cider, 1 part bourbon, and 1/2 part elderflower liquer (I used shot glasses to measure)

Pour over ice and stir with a cinnamon stick.

Slice an apple for garnish if desired!

  19. 1. i very much appreciated the Harry Potter reference. If I could, I'd paint a Harry mural on my wall. But I think that that would give my boyfriend nightmares. 2. this sounds so extremely goooood. And I haven't had a drink in over a month and now I wish I had a flask in my office desk drawer. If Mad Men could do it then so can I ;)
