I feel like I have been selling futures on a personal level lately. For the past year, it's like I have been advertising being married and having this little family, but open my blog, Facebook, Twitter, and it's just me and Teemo chilling in an all-white apartment I can't paint because we all know better than to let me paint. I'm the worst - you should have seen what our house floors looked like after I painted (thankfully, we re-floored afterwards). Anyhow, it's a lot like buying a size two dress while trying to lose weight and I'm finally at that point where I'm going to fit in it. I have a long list of things I am excited to have my husband around for - like taking photos with the dogs, going shopping with me, going on trips, and giving me back rubs when I get home from work because seriously my back hurts so bad these day it's not even funny.

This skirt is such a fun print, i love it! It looks great with the blue tights, and those shoes. I think I need a bunny ring like yours in my life! So adorable
ReplyDeleteI bet you're excited to have your husband home, all those plans sound so exciting and like such fun. Having back rubs when you come home is always amazing. I am excited for my manfriend to be home for a bit too, he's been doing school out of town since Sept but only has another month or so for practicum.

Such a pretty dress and tights. I love the pendant with the two bird on it. Yay for husbands that give back rubs and take puppy pics.
ReplyDeleteI talk about my Cairn, my Corgi, and my cat incessantly...lol.
So I tried commenting on your last outfit post last night, but my internet crapped out on me and I got too tired to write again. I'll just repeat what I was going for: there's almost no point in me commenting on your posts (though I always will) because I basically just say that I love everything every time. Seriously? This coat, this skirt, these shoes, your jewelry... live closer to me please?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely dress, the colours are beautiful!

You look so beautiful in these pictures and I especially love the one of your rings! Could they be any more adorable? I love that you know how to rock different colors together, like those sandals and those tights. Jealous? Yes I am.
ReplyDeleteI also have really bad back pains after work from sitting all day. If only my boyfriend wasn't teaching abroad. Long distance has it's little, rough moments.
Aw! :-( I feel you. I'm so sorry Katherine. How much longer until your hubbie comes back? I really love your pretty dress. You may not be able to paint, but you can take photos and dress lovely like nobody's business! Keep your head up!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I love so many things about this look. First that skirt is amazing, the colors, the feathers, and I bet it's amazing to twirl in! Secondly how adorable are your accessories, specifically those rings and the birdie necklace. Lastly you can mix colors like no other, seriously envious of that quality.
ReplyDeleteI can't even begin to imagine not having your husband with you....I hope you don't have to wait much longer =)
ReplyDeleteaw :( This is sad. You need those foot rubs!!!

P.S. totally know what you mean about the back thing... what's up with it?! I feel like i"m turning into a 60 year old always complaining about the aches in my back (and everywhere else)! wah wahhhhh! I guess we have an excuse to : a. treat ourselves to a massage(s) b. get our boys to massage us or c. take bubble baths every single day! :)

ReplyDeleteAww..I'm sorry to hear that you are going through a backache lately. Have you tried visiting a Physiotherapist or Chiropractor? Maybe they're able to help?

I'm happy that your hubby is finally coming back (I know I've said that a million times)! It will be nice to see all the cute family pictures you put up. As for your back (I'm an assistant to a couple back surgeons) I would recommend yoga or anything that will stretch out your spine. It sounds dumb but it's relaxing and really helps! At least until your back masseuse is back in town :)
ReplyDeleteI love the blue and yellow theme here in your outfit. Oh, and you always have the best Anthropologie dresses <3

I'm sure you've told the story of why you've been separated, I just haven't read back far enough. All I know is that that SUCKS. Even thinking of long distance makes me so sad, so I'm cheering with ya! Also: amazing combo!! Love the shoes and tights, and your dress ties it all together so, nice matching!
