I got the chance to meet Marisa from the Shades of Monet Chronicles this weekend, and I am so glad we met! She is an amazing person and I immediately felt comfortable chatting and shopping with her. If you don't know her blog already, go visit! You will fall in love with her vintage style - and her. It was great to get to know her a bit more - check out her post with outfit details here. We went to this astonishing vintage store here in Harrisburg that I have passed so many times on my way downtown but never stopped into. We each found some amazing things at Atomic Warehouse and got to meet some other local stylish girls which was a plus I wasn't anticipating. We got to walk around downtown, talk, and then set up the tripod and take photos at the giant fountain in front of the capitol building. Sometimes they dye the fountain colors, as a side note. We ended with dinner at Carley's, a little piano bar that serves Italian food, which was just perfect.
It was fairly warm out, so my purple strapless dress was a good choice. I've never worn a belt with this dress because of the detailing at the waist, but I decided to try my rope belt out with it today. I'm glad I did.
