Next up, outfit for a night out on the town with my friend. We had dinner at a yummy sushi place called Miyako and then ventured out into the craziness that is downtown Harrisburg on the weekend. I don't do well at that kind of stuff, I never have, so we only stayed for a little while, especially since I was convinced the whole place was going to be smited (smitten?) down because this was what was happening. Weird things happen here, and I feel like I need to start collecting something from these strange events because no one is going to believe me that there was a monster truck rally with a bounty hunter that came this winter (I heard the radio ads). There are some things that happen here that I really have to laugh at, otherwiseI might just go insane.
So I donned some shorts and heels, shared a classy warm sake with Kayla, and managed to stay out until 10pm. I was excited to wear my new bird print shirt which Jason pointed out while we were shopping because it looks a lot like the style of my tattoo!

what does 'remixed' mean in your posts?
ReplyDeleteI started reading because I love corgis and fashion, was surprised/excited to find out you are in Harrisburg! It's my hometown, but now I live in Pittsburgh (and soon in Philly). It is nice to read a blog and see snippets of home. :) (Like for instance ... I saw old friends on Facebook talking about that 'event', and I didn't get it until just now. How is that a thing.)
that's a really cute bird print shirt katherine. love the scalloped edge shorts.

Remixed just means I have worn it before in another post - i try and wear things a few times here. That's awesome you are from Harrisburg - I've been here less than a year and I'm still learning a lot about the area.
ReplyDeleteI just have to say that I really love your haircut. It's sassy and sweet at the same time. I've always thought about cutting my hair like that but mine is much too frizzy/wavy to pull it off. So I'll just live through you... haha!
