I took Teemo for a nice little walk in my new favorite place today. I loved walking him around this area and exploring it slowly while he sniffed around. He was so cute and kept chasing butterflies, which was just too adorable to be true. Plus, aren't the butterfly bench and giant cat statue just the best? I told you this place was perfection. I love relaxing days like this - I visited Gabriel Brothers, cleaned my house, and just spent some good time with the dog. I rarely turn off and just relax like this. I always feel the need to keep moving and never stop.

I need to wear this top more often, but I might be over this dress. I have had it too long and I think it shrunk and it might just be dead soon. Forever21 things just don't last too long, or wash well, and I should be happy I've made this work for like 3 years.

    What a nice day! Teemo chasing butterflies sounds pretty adorable. This bench is great, too! What's on your necklace? Finally, you bag looks delectable. You have excellent taste in bags, of course.

    That butterfly bench is awesome! If I were there I would spend ages posing on it and pretending I am a butterfly. You know with a big flowy dress on... cause I am a grown up. *cough*

    katherine, you and teemo look so cute. my eyes were drawn to the butterfly bench. it is GORGEOUS. oh, i use to go out to the park and the river was near by and just sit. i would look at the sky, ships passing and people walking their dogs. so tranquil! love that top and dress. wear it until it's all shrinked out! hahahaha

    Teemo is so cute! Looks like a great little park. I agree, Forever 21 doesn't have the sturdiest of clothing but I have a couple pieces that have outlasted their trend :)

    That butterfly bench!!! Harrisburg really does have some enchanting spots if you look hard enough. I really love the shirt under the dress combo. I'm lucky if I can make it through the month with my F21 stuff. How precious is your pup!!

    I love your ruffly top! I used to never own anything in red, but now I've slowly acquired a few things and I really like it. Love your Webster flats too! I have two of the high heels from that collection but I haven't worn them yet. :) <3

    SUCH an adorable outfit. I love the little touch of orange- I think I might like this outfit all the more, considering orange is my favorite color. (Haha, and it's worth mentioning that I am pretty darn jealous that orange looks so good on you;)

    I use a Canon 60D with a Canon 50mm f/1.4 or a Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8. These were all taken with the 50mm!

    Several things I want to say here - love the dog (love that you even include the dog's collar in the fashion list)! love the blog! There is a trend for clothes from certain places to not last very long - it is literally planned that way - there was an entire big write-up in a newspaper recently. A Youtuber calls them, correctly, "disposable trendwear". That garden bench as butterfly - when I lived in Lexington, KY, there was a store called Artique that sold them - I'm so glad to see them 'out and about' :)

    Indeed! That's awesome you know the bench! And indeed, Forever 21 stuff is incredibly cheap, it's meant to cost less. I still feel bad throwing out a dress because this one is actually still fine - no rips or anything, I just think I aged and it's from too long ago.

    i love the quality of these photos. and i also love teemo. i agree about forever 21 dresses. some of them i make last a really really long time, but others, not so much.
