DIY Popsicle Nail Art

I think I have found my go-to summer nails now. Popsicles! These are easy, can be done with as many or as few colors as you want, and fit to any summer occasion.

What You'll Need
Scotch Tape or Painter's Tape
1-5 Colors of Nail Polish
Camel Brown Color of Nail Polish for Popsicle Sticks (Julep's Otte is perfect)

First you will need to carefully paint a small line with the camel brown nail polish about 1/3 of the way up the middle of your nail. Go too far? Wipe with a bit of paper towel or a finger - any nail polish on your skin ends up washing off quickly anyway. Allow to dry for at least an hour.

Tape in a straight line over the popsicle stick part. Take your colors of nail polish (I used 4th of July colors here!) and paint a line down the center of your nail, thicker than the Popsicle stick but not the full width of your nail. Allow to dry for about 10 minutes, then peel the tape off.

Voila! A simple nail art that does't require any art with a toothpick or anything!

  2. I love rainbow colours on your fingers! It's so subtle that people don't notice it at first glance. So I feel that they are solely for my own pleasure xD

  8. whathwathwthawthat these are ADORABLE. I like how you kept the "background" clear. The nail background. Ha, that sounds silly. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. I wish I could be skilled in the art of nail painting, but unfortunately I tend to bite my nails (awful habit, I know!) and then usually one hand looks awesome and the other looks like my dog dragged his butt across it. Problems, man.

Also, I got your e-mail for the meetup and a) I AM SO HONORED WHAT and b) I'm sure you probably know that I won't be able to make it, but I'm keeping it just in case there is some weird chance that I get a free weekend and my parents decide its okay for me to go up there (hahahahaha good one ha fat chance on that) BUT AWE you are so sweet and thoughtful to send it anyway and I love you okay ONE DAY WE WILL MEET. (heart emotes times one thousand)
