Romance in Disney - Minnie Mouse Style

My husband Jason and I decided to do a really early Valentine's Day celebration while we were in Disney and get a nice hotel room for one night. We really want to visit and stay in each of Disney's hotels in our life, and the one night stay while we are there is a great way to do it. We chose Port Orleans Riverside, a Louisana river themed hotel near downtown Disney. It was a really pretty hotel and we loved wandering around the grounds and seeing everything.

We then ventured to Epcot for dinner and margaritas in the Mexico Pavillion at San Angel Inn. Jason gave me my Valentine's gift - an R2D2 heart box I had been wanting and hand made cards I can cash in for date nights. One set of cards is 'date nights' like 'fancy dinner' or 'Disney Date' and the other set is activities to pair with them like 'online shopping'.

I wanted to wear heels, but I was walking nearly 11 miles a day according to the pedometer. Here's the true image of what was going on. And PS. I always wear these tights technically backwards. I like them better this way.

    That R2D2 heart box is SOOO cool!!! What a great gift, and what a wonderful day. I haven't been there for about 6 years and was trying to find cheap flights the other day because you're making me remember what fun it is!!!
    I absolutely love this polka dot dress, so perfect with the mustard cardigan. Gorgeous!!

    I love Minnie Mouse style! I have yellow wedges and I love to pair them with a red dress. It never fails to make me happy and remind me of her!
    That hotel looks amazing. I've never stayed at a Disney resort, but I always imagined it'd be awesome. I mean...it's Disney!

    This looks like so much fun, I've always wanted to stay at a Disney Resort! Your outfit is darling of course and I love the photo of you two together :) I had no idea you were wearing these tights backwards, I agree they look better this way! I love these tights.

    oh actually i am so glad to see tennis shoes there haha from all that walking. Those heels are super cute but i actually prefer the look the tennis add for some reason to that adoralbe dress. love those tights backwards & ooolala looks like such a romantic stay!

    Sounds like a great Valentine's Day celebration! That hotel looks gorgeous. <3 I would love to spend a night in the Cinderella Castle, but you can't buy a reservation - they just occasionally give away a night there as a prize. :(

    I enjoyed this post a lot! Sorry for not catching up with your post for a while. I've been travelling and so busy with the Chinese New Year celebration which was going on over here. Had so much food, catching up with family and tonnes to prep for reunion dinner (just like Thanksgiving for you guys).
    You and hubby look so happy together. I'm sure you guys had so much fun in Disneyland.
