Our Spring Is Sweet Not Fleeting

This skirt is old. Like I bought it my sophomore year of college with my best friend on clearance at Target old. It's a mainstay though for grocery shopping, lazy weekends, and walking around. I don't know when I can ever get rid of it as I love everything about it. It's not super fashionable. It might not be age appropriate anymore, I did buy it when I was 19 after all. But I don't care. Some days, I need to feel like I am 19 and my biggest worry was if I was going to finish my project of making a cat mask for class on time.

I can't say the same for this bag though. I thought I'd try and resurrect it today. It is the only bag in my closet that has been pushed to the back so often and never brought to see the blog. I know why now. It can't even hold my cell phone in it's cell phone pocket (I do, by the way, have a monster of a cell phone - not an iPhone). It will be for sale someday soon.

    Hotel Hershey!!!! This is one of my favorite places to eat. On Friday nights my family and I would always go here and listen to the jazz bands in the summertime. I took photos here too a couple years back at my cousin's wedding, but they never made it to the blog b/c I hated how my face looked in them...haha. One of these days...I want to get back here:)

    Anyhow, you look so pretty as always and I do love that skirt. I have several college pieces in my closet still too...some things are just too hard to get rid of. Gorgeous photos Katherine! xx

    The skirt is really cute on you! I don't think it's age-inappropriate at all. The way you styled it makes it look very age appropriate. I don't know why you haven't gotten much use out of the bag though - the red is such a striking color against any outfit :)

    I love hearing stories of other people's Target skirts from college that they can't let go of... I have similar stories with Payless shoes, Walmart hats, and tons of others! So cheap, but I just can't let go!

    sometimes there are certain pieces that you just can't seem to get rid of, even if you don't wear them as much as you used to, there's something that it symbolizes more, you know? I definitely have a few things like that! Anyways, it's a darling skirt -- and that bag! Lovely!

    I love the last photo! The staircase is gorgeous. I have things I bought when I was in my 2nd year of undergrad and I can't get rid of it for some reason. The crossbody bag looks great, but I know what it's like to have deceivingly small bags! argh!
