I wanted to wear something comfortable but cute, so I put on the straps that came with this dress and my nice and warm new Dear Creatures coat. They all kept me warm! I thought my new bird's nest necklace that Shannah Renee sent me was a perfect compliment - the two pearl eggs represent my two pups!
One of the main reasons we came into Philly was to try out a real, legitimate cheesesteak. We went to the two featured on food fueds - Geno's Steaks and Pat's King of Steaks - which are literally RIGHT across from each other. Geno's far surpassed Pat's in our eyes. We took Pat's home to feed the pups we hated it so much.

I've never really visited Philly either, just drove through or the outskirts of the city. I def. want to go and play tourist and really you can't go without getting a cheesesteak.
ReplyDeleteAdorable outfit, and that dress is amazing! I just got my first Dear Creatures dress <3 I have to admit, I cringed a little when reading about the pups getting some cheesesteak. I'm sure you're a responsible pet owner though!

when my friend took me to philadelphia we did the same thing! I honestly can't remember which I thought was better...guess I didn't have such strong feelings, hahaha.
ReplyDeleteThat coat goes so well with the dress. As much as I love the clothes though, it is the food that has me drooling in the post though. That French Onion Soup looks outta this world.

Oh, I love your red coat! You look so adorable as usual. And the food looks amazing! My husband loves that show, by the way. I just want to explore the city! -Jess L
ReplyDeleteYou take such good food pictures! Sometimes I try and take pictures of things we have out but the lighting always makes everything seem yellow or weird. You actually capture deliciousness. Is that a word? Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteAlso cheesesteak is such a weird concept to me. I remember when I was in Texas being taken out to dinner by a bunch of Andy's friends (he grew up in America) and I was just bewildered cause they gave me a side salad that would be a main in the UK, butter that I thought was ice cream (came in scoops not squares) and a cheesesteak that wasn't actually just a big piece of cheese. Good times. :)
Love the photo of you on the bench! Pretty girl!
ReplyDelete♥Em
Look at you! Lookin good ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that dress.
And that coat is so so cute.
I love that you take photos when you are out to eat, I always want to do that but I feel like people would think I am weird. I guess that doesn't really matter, huh?
A 4 story anthro?!! Damn. I'd be in there for hours! That food at the French bistro actually looks more up my alley :) yum! And your coat is gorgeous! My sister made my mom one of those pretty necklaces with 3 eggs for each of her daughters. Such a cute idea.

yum yum yum :) I haven't gone to philly in forever! Well more like 3 years. I guess I just have an infatuation with NYC lol. But a 4 story anthropologie store definitely sounds enticing! Loving the beanie as well as the navy and red coat :) I love the lining on it!

This looks like such a fun trip with plenty of tasty food and beverages! I love your outfit here too! This dress is adorable on you. The print is fantastic and I really like the color of your cardigan paired with it. And your coat! It's awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love! My husband and I have been wanting to head out to Philly for the longest time! Um. 4 story Anthropologie?? I must go soon!
ReplyDeleteLove that Anthro bird print dress, almost bought it myself but I worried about it being strapless, you wear it well :)
ReplyDeleteYou two always have the best (and most frequent) traveling adventures! I have never been to Philadelphia, but have wanted to go since I saw the movie...Invincible? I think? Where Mark Wahlberg is the old guy who trys out for the Eagles? Anyway. I love that your trips feature a lot of food because isn't that the best part of visiting a city? Do I spy Thin Mint Cupcakes!? I sure hope you tried those! You also always have the best packing lists for trips! I'm amazed at how put-together you look even away from home!
