Everything about these photos gets me excited. Every time I wear this dress, I feel happy. Plus, I was super excited to wear my new armadillo earrings. My husband Jason & my basset Raynor like the armadillos so much down in Florida, and these were just perfect and will always remind me of them. And today it suddenly struck me to try out taking photos in this beautiful little garden area on my way home from work. I have passed it many times, but since it isn't on my normal drive home from work, I guess I never thought to take photos here. Boy, am I glad I did. This place is secluded, full of weird little things like a butterfly bench, and not a single person came while I was there. I feel like I hit the 'taking photos by myself' jackpot here.

Who enjoys the big old bruise on my ankle I got from falling over during my presentation in a company wide meeting last week? I'm pretty awesome like that.

Also - pokeball nails. Total bonus points if you can name which ones are which. The ring finger is a net ball and didn't turn out great - I'll give you that. I love pokemon - I've got a Marill sticker on my car.

Sometimes I get frustrated with things. I've got it pretty good, I realize that, but I do get annoyed at the money I spend flying down to Florida to see my husband Jason, the time I am missing with my little family, and the pounding head aches I get from staring at line drawings all day at work. My last few hours with Jason are always hard as I feel like I'm on this weird roller coaster because I am overwhelmingly sad and happy all at once, and I really don't want to let that sad part out at all. It has been 10 months now and I am still not used to this whole thing, nor will I ever be, but I am strong, and I carry on. Our last day was spent shopping together, (I love shopping with Jason, he is the best stylist ever, and a lot of the dresses you all have commented you love were his choices for me .... including this dress and the ice cream print one from yesterday. Did I mention we shop on Modcloth over Skype? Yeah....) eating Pinkberry, walking Raynor, and stopping by this little lake as our last stop before I flew out. Florida really is beautiful with tons to do, and it is always extremely hard to leave and come back to Harrisburg.

So you'll note no bag here. One great thing about having Jason around is that I don't really need a bag. When we went shopping, I didn't take my bag! We have the same credit cards, so why bother? Plus, this dress has pockets big enough for my cell.

Celebration! Celebration!

Celebration is one of those places that doesn't exist. I'm convinced this was all some sort of wild dream as our time spent in this ideal little town was just amazing. Close to Disney, this town is full of delicious local restaurants, beautiful parks and trails, and kind people. We were able to quickly navigate to downtown Disney where we added to our Vinylmation collection and traded away. Raynor was in heaven as not only were their squirrels and birds to try and run after, but people stopped and petted her quite a bit. I was so glad to get some photos of me and her together. Us girls gotta stick together. Kind of. Not really at all. We were able to walk to dinner and enjoy our Sangria without worry. Plus, what kind of weird community has electronic vehicles? Yeah. I am happy my in-laws found such a great place to retire and that I get to visit from time to time.

We ate dinner at the delicious Columbia Restaurant. I'm still not at all sure where that bull came from. And I definitely bought myself a ring at the Sanrio store.

Going to Florida to visit Jason always makes me feel like the manic pixie dream girl in one of those good but kind of cliche indie movies. I mean, my goal in life has been to be Kirsten Dunst in Elizabethtown since I saw the movie, but I kind of grew up and became Orlando Bloom's character instead. But flying across the country to see my man, going out to pretty bars and taking photos in fountains past midnight while people packing up a restaurant stare at us, well, it's as close to picturesque as it gets for me. We enjoyed strolling along Park Avenue, drinking a caipiranha which Lena introduced me to, and me literally sitting into the fountain (I let my skirt into the water on accident. Pretty typical for me).

I LOVE peanut butter and jelly. It's been a weird thing with me lately. I've made tons of little versions at home for lunch, but I wanted to try and make a dessert. So here is one half of a peanut butter and jelly dessert - the yummy fat free ice cream part!

I have to admit something. I'm a huge nerd. I dress up my dog. And I definitely (awhile ago, actually) bought Teemo a Stitch costume off eBay and it is the best thing ever. I love Lilo and Stitch. It is by far my favorite Disney movie and I remember seeing it in theaters - a lot because I just got my tonsils out and it was all I wanted to do. I have Stitch cell phone charms (now used as zipper pulls on my camera bag), Stitch toys, and more. If I had not named Teemo after Teemo, his name would have been Stitch. He does remind me of Stitch though - so here you go! My dog in a stitch costume!
