Tailored (Not So) Grown Up Clothes

It has been warm enough to not wear tights, and really, not even wear a jacket. It's been two months since I have had heat or air on in my apartment. My energy bills are so low I celebrate it every month. I just wish it would stay like this forever.

  2. Katherine, I was just telling my family members the same thing. No air conditioning. No heat. The weather has been perfect. I hate when it's extreme. I love your dress! The color is pretty :) Have a great week doll!

  3. I'm so jealous you can go out without tights! We've been obstinately refusing to put our heating on, but I think we're going to have to give in soon - last night I put on a pair of gloves to go to bed. I love the mix of crimson and turquoise in your outfit, you look gorgeous xo

  8. SO great that you're in that "in-between" temperature at the moment! It's so nice isn't it? We just ran the heat for the very first time in our house last night :) I gotta say it was wonderful!
I love your scarf and you and T always look so adorable!

  10. The scarf is so pretty, but I am also in love with that belt! It's nice when energy bills are low. I freeze so often, especially now! :)

  11. I am so jealous of your inbetween weather!! It snowed here all weekend and is freezing, unfortunately our "falls" dont last long.
This dress is such an amazing colour, it looks so great on you!! I love how you paired it with the printed scarf and blazer. That bag is such so great too!

  13. I love that your grown up look still includes fun shoes and a bright colored dress, that's my kind of grown up! In other news, I'm in love with that scarf! I feel like that will just go with everything this fall.

  14. The weather has turned horrible this week. Rain and wind. I broke down and turned our furnace on about 10 days ago. You are lucky.

Once again I love the colour choices.

  16. I love your flats! I too have been celebrating low electric bills and I love to have the windows open, unfortunately windows open today = hurricane sandy inside. I think the nice weather is over for the season and that stinks!

  21. I hate to ask a daft question, but what does it mean when you say clothing is "remixed"? I always love your style. Our temps are currently whacky and I usually wear tights with my dresses to school, since I get to sit in the floor.

    1. not at all! it just means i've worn / styled it before on this blog - so remixed means it's been up at least once more!

  32. Loving this Katherine! I know I havent put my heat on either.... score! I don't see the bill because its built into our rent but I always figure keeping good practices is a good idea. PLUS just because I don't see it doesnt mean someone else doesn't. PLUS I hate the feeling of heat being on... feel like it drys up an home pretty quickly. ANYWAY love this outfit!!

    Sara :)
