I love this little dress that I picked up on sale at Urban Outfitters for about 15 dollars awhile back. I have it in a natural linen color too, but the coral version fits better (despite being the same size). I thought this all went great with my new fedora. I love straw fedoras - I wore Jason's in Hawaii last year - but I wanted one of my own. I love this little hat and it was pretty cheap too - a great spring accessory.

Also - I got my hair cut, or rather trimmed- and guess where? Great Clips! I haven't really gotten a good hair cut since I've moved to Pennsylvania, and I hate paying decent money for a salon cut that I dislike, so I just decided to try Great Clips. The girl who cut my hair did an amazing job- I am so glad I got paired with her. I kept her name - she really did well thinning my thick hair out and having it lay right. I love it again. Yay!

I love these nails! These are my new Essie colors for spring - the coral is Tart Deco, the light whitish pink is Adore-A-Ball, and the teal is Turquoise and Caicos. I use the top coat too and the color stays good for a week. I love Essie polish!

Becki was able to come visit me this weekend, and I had so much fun! We went to a hip hop warm ups at e-dance center, ate dinner at Hershey, took Teemo to a dog fair, and watched like 12 episodes of New Girl.

I am back from Vegas! It was a fun but really hard to do trip. Lots of early morning waking up. I was there on business, but my co-worker Adriane got to have some fun times and eat some great food.

First day in the hotel! I made my t-shirt scarf.

Dinner at ENVY Steakhouse. Filet mignon with fingerling potatoes and foie gras butter. Ours sides were truffle reggiano fries and maker's mark bourbon creamed corn.

My outfit for the second day mainly featured my awesome sparkly skirt. It was actually relatively cold in Vegas, though! I forgot to bring a coat, so my blazer was my only option.

This weekend Becki, Teemo, and I will be attending to Pawsabilities here in Harrisburg. I wanted to make Teemo something cute to either wear alone or with his adorable pea coat if it manages to get here. I went out and did this.

Before you go out to a local thrift store, measure your pup's neck size. Let it be a little loose since this can not be used as a functional collar and you will have to use a normal dog collar for a leash still. Teemo was a good 16".

I found an Izod short sleeved oxford. Find something with a good, stiff material that will still hold well when you cut the entire shirt off. When you get home, cut the collar from the shirt. Be careful and cut slowly, right at the seam, and you will get a perfect edge.

I used this amazing tutorial to make the bow tie. I made ones for the wedding, but from a pattern and from cut fabric, not a tie. This turned out quite well, especially for it taking only about 15 minutes to do!

The bow tie before sewed onto the neck tie part. I used sticky velcro for the tie since it wasn't a huge deal - you could also use bow tie sliders and this could be made for a human. I guess a Chippendale's outfit. I'm going to keep pegging it as a cute dog collar.

Teemo is so handsome in his new collar, don't you think? I think this has a lot of potential!

PS. I drove 2 hours to visit Baltimore and found out Maryland Trader Joe's don't sell the awesome cider because like Pennsylvania, there is no beer/wine in grocery stores. I miss Ohio.

I got my Star Wars dressin the mail Thursday and was beyond ecstatic. I think I sent like 4 photos to Jason. I wore it while Teemo and I were out running a few errands today, but realized after we trekked out into a muddy field, I left all my memory cards at home. Oops! Anyhow, this dress is a dream, and it fits me perfectly. You should check into her store for more dresses that she will custom make to fit you! I love how the back scoops - it's perfect for my tattoo. Plus, it features R2-D2, my favorite! I meant to take some of my R2 collection outside with me, but was distracted by Teemo running about and trying to slip into my neighbors porch. When I was in high school, I began making a R2-D2 costume out of a trash can for opening night of Revenge of the Sith, but I ended up getting grounded for the only time in my life (I think). I drove a kid to Michigan and back in a night, then dropped him of at his 'grandmother''s house, then the cops called and apparently I helped him run away. I'm still bitter about it, and it's been 7 years.

I've spent most of today cleaning in preparation for Becki coming to visit next week and am super excited to be leaving soon for Las Vegas. Jason leaves for San Francisco tomorrow, so I may be driving down to Baltimore for a trip to Trader Joe's, some shopping, and a new restaurant while he is on his flight.

In reality, there was no sunshine but my bright yellow dress on this day! Thank goodness for my covered porch - I do love it, and it's alright for photos. Plus, it's great because I can easily grab treats for Teemo and entice him to do photos!

So excited it is March! I will be in Las Vegas next Tuesday! And Becki will be here next Friday. Can't wait.
