The Golden

GoldenCocktail

This cocktail is an easy one. Inspired by the golden retriever, it's got a bit of gold in it, is easy to make, and has a very 'all American' ingredient set. Everyone enjoyed the little addition of cinnamon and whiskey to the cider to give it a little extra kick and spice.

What You'll Need
Pint Glass
1 Bottle Cider (I used 802 Woodchuck, but any non-flavored style will work here)
1/2 Shot Goldschlager
1/2 Shot Jack Daniels

Pour half of the wood chuck into a glass.

Pour even amounts of Jack Daniels and Goldschlager into shot glasses. You don't want this to over power the cider, so a half shot of each is a good amount, trust me. Pour the other half of the Woodchuck into the glass. This helps to mix it. You can also stir with a straw or swizzle stick.

Serve and enjoy!

  19. I've never been a cocktail person, but I am trying to learn. totally struck out on NYE with a Sidecar, but this sounds a little less bitter so it should be more to my tastes.

Also your comment on my blog made me laugh today!! You have TOTALLY visited before! Glad you came by again from Sabrina's blog, and I hope you'll stick around, haha!
