All Around The World Statues Crumble For Me

Epcot is hands down my favorite Disney park. I'm going to stick with that. I love the ease of the park - how the rides seem a little more effortless and the park feels like I'm traveling to postcards of a place. I have never really thought of Epcot as anything like visiting the countries in the Worlds, but rather small representations similar to a written postcard you get from a friend. Plus random fluffy characters walking around.

Jason and I had perhaps the best day I have ever had in Epcot - filled with margaritas from La Cava de Tequila in the Mexico pavilion, ciders from the England pavilion that we traveled to the Canada pavilion to drink just like during our honeymoon, and pastries from the France pavilion. We took the day easy, never waiting in a single line, and taking lots of breaks to sit in little areas of the worlds to talk and enjoy our short, magical time together.

Also, take my advice. If you go to a theme park in a dress, get some little bike shorts. I should have.

  1. Looks like you had a great day! I love Epcot! My favorite part is the countries. I love being able to get a taste of all the countries I'd like to visit someday, even if they're really just a snapshot of each place. I love Disney so much. I'm not sure if I have a favorite Disney park. It'd probably either be Magic Kingdom or Epcot. My favorite theme park is Universal, though!

  3. Looks like you had such a fun time. Epcot is one of my favorites too - no where else can you get the most amazing chocolate cake in Switzerland and then flirt with the guy selling cappuccino in Italy. (That's a true story.) :P

Can't wait to see more pictures of your adventures. :)

  5. That looks fun - my husbands gran lives down outside Tampa so i know the day we finally get down there we'll be having a visit around some of the parks! Epcot looks more like my kinda place - i'm rubbish at being patient enough for rides.

  6. I haven't been to Epcot since I was a child, but I remember not liking it. I guess as an adult you appreciate the surroundings, I was more into the characters and the rides. I love wearing dresses pretty much anytime, but I agree, bike shorts are needed!

  13. I've never ever heard Epcot before! I am going to have to Google it now. I went to the California Disneyland when I was about 10 I think, but even though I live in Britain I've nevr ever been to Disneyland Paris. It looks like you had beautiful weather and a great time. :)

  27. Epcot was hands down my favorite park when I went with my senior class back in high school. I just wish I could have gone all the way around but our friends an I couldn't help but stop and just look around. It was pretty awesome I wish we didn't have to turn around in India. The only sad things was it was one of the last parks we visited so I was a little low on money so I didn't get some of the things I really wanted. It looks like you had a wonderful time :)

Shorts under a dress there are a must though...(I once learned that the hard way haha.) Are those little birds on your dress? Love it! Aren't the French pastries delicious? I simply can't wait to go back!!

  31. One of my best friends goes to Epcot every single year, sometimes a couple times a year, and I have yet to even go south of NJ, but she always raves about it and said one day she'll take me there to experience it. hehe. How amazing!!! Lovely place!
