We are denizens of greatness

Going to Florida to visit Jason always makes me feel like the manic pixie dream girl in one of those good but kind of cliche indie movies. I mean, my goal in life has been to be Kirsten Dunst in Elizabethtown since I saw the movie, but I kind of grew up and became Orlando Bloom's character instead. But flying across the country to see my man, going out to pretty bars and taking photos in fountains past midnight while people packing up a restaurant stare at us, well, it's as close to picturesque as it gets for me. We enjoyed strolling along Park Avenue, drinking a caipiranha which Lena introduced me to, and me literally sitting into the fountain (I let my skirt into the water on accident. Pretty typical for me).

  9. hey katherine! long distance relationships can definitely be hard. i applaud you guys for making the best of time when you're together. sounds so romantic and magical. i feel for his food allergies. i can't eat shrimp cocktail sauce or horseradish. my eyes puff up horribly and you would think i'm transforming. LOL so i feel his pain. at first i didn't know what it was, so it happened a couple of times. i had to go to the doctor and it takes 3 days for the swelling to come down. horrible! i love your dress and cardi. so darling. i do the same when i wear a dress.

  12. First of all, I love your outfit! I've been really liking that dark teal color and cardigans lately. There's actually a cardigan at that color at Charlotte Russe I saw on Thursday that I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up going back for. ;)

Second of all, your evening sounds magical! So sweet and cool and adventurous! <3

Its fun to watch movies with manic pixie girls but I think in real life one would end up feeling rather rudderless. Much better to just play at being one for a night.

    Love the look.
