I've been answering some questions that Missy asked me over on Facebook - and one thing that came up is that chex mix is my comfort food. Usually I'm talking my normal salty/savory recipe, but I will admit, this sweet/salty cereal mix is just as addicting.
What You'll Need
3 Cups Cheerios
2.5 Cups Golden Grahams
2.5 Cups Corn Chex
2 Cups Pretzel Sticks
5 Tablespoons Butter
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
Pinch of sea salt
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Mix your dry ingredients in a bowl.
Melt butter in a small container in the microwave.
Mix with cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
Pour butter sauce over dry cereals and stir well.
Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir. Repeat. Allow to cool - then enjoy!
i love the mix of sweet and salty so this looks delicious! perfect for a party :)

This looks soooo good. I love the salty and sweet mix so will definitely try this. Just need to work out what the UK alternatives are to the cereals.

That's a fascinating food idea. Sounds so wrong at first, but that sounds really cool. I'm having a party soon so that might have to go on the party food list to try it out.
